you'll need two of the brackets that you drill, in the photo. The other won't work for this application. Can get another one at the dealer for a few bucks. Make sure you have a couple new/sharp 3/8 drill bits. The steel is damn hard. I broke 3 bits drilling mine.
really... When we relocated my buddies it was like drilling warm butter (as if drilling cold butter is hard?!?!) another side note, we had to get longer pinch bolts as the stock ones were too short and wouldnt start a thread.
i was going to wait and do this when i replace my bars, but that could be awhile. how hard was it fishing the wires out from the stock set-up?
No more difficult than anything else. Disconnect wires from connectors (in the backbone, under the tank.) Loosen controls and begin pulling wires back through.
Joe, a few questions.....
What are the lights you have on there for the turn sigs ? They're all most as cool as the wrap around fork signals.
Also, I like the driving lights. What are they ? I drive a LOT at night through the wood(practically) and the deer are just crazy ! I don't want to put a light bar on a Dyna, but I desperately need more light. Do they help a lot ?
