Default Left Tail Light broke~

MY left tail light broke right at the stud where is connects to the light housing, I have detachable sissy bar on my bike, do i need to just cut the wires and get the stud insert to fix it ? I didnt put the light reloction kit on it, I came with it. or do the wires clip up under the tail light harness somewhere??

Thanks,

Marc

The turn signal wires connect to a circuit board inside your tail light assembly. Remove the tail light lens and you'll see the turn signal and brake light connectors. Left turn signal wires are the black and purple wires on the left.

Cheers,
Jay

I don't think the connectors on the signal harness will fit through the hollow in the threaded detachable hardware signal mounting stalk. I believe the kits come with butt connectors for this reason. You may have to cut, splice, and solder.

Let me know if you need the mounting stalk for cost of shipping. I should have my old ones.

You can also disassemble the connector from the wires instead of cutting if you like.
