Default My Harley sounds like a Harley

Last night I installed my new exhaust system and I could not be happier. Because I'm about to be a daddy I only had a budget of $600. I bought everything on ebay NIB. I started out by getting the Ness Big Sucker stage 1 A/C, and because of my budget I got the V & H Short Shot Staggared, and to regulate fuel/air mixture I got the Fuel Pak. Heres a summary of the install... The A/C was cake to install, the aluminum backing plate is a little chinsey. The Short Shots were also very easy to install, they look great and sound better. Now on to the Fuel Pak, where should I begin? I really liked how easy it was to program, a kid could do it. The bike runs great on the map provided by V & H no poping or back fire. My only problem was the instalation. That thing was not meant to fit under the seat of a Bob. It took about an hour and 45 mins. to connect to cables just because space is so limited. Pretty much everything under the seat needed a new home. After several attemts I finaly got the SOB stuffed in that tight little area under the seat, what a pain in the a$$.

A 9:45 last night I took it for a ride with the new systm installed, I F'in love it. I only went about $10 over my budget and my Harley sounds like a Harley should. I did get one little back fire but it was after I laid a patch at a red light downtown, I had to let out some of that agression the Fuel Pak caused.

If it's a boy you can name him Vance.

I'll have pics up this weekend I'm still working on making an A/C cover.

It is going to be a boy. We were thinking about naming him Nixon but, Vance is cool.

Congrats on the baby...

If it's a boy, you could always switch out the pipes to Sampson. Just stay away from Hooker (nuff said) [sm=nono.gif]

Congratulations, on the job well done in both areas. On the forums alot of people said that the fuel pak was junk, but you have made me think a little differently now. May the baby be very healthy.

Make sure to check the tightness of the exhaust after you get a few miles and then periodically for awhile. Friendly advice from someone that waited a few miles too long and now has a scratch on his new pipes from the exhaust flange vibrating loose

Now, congrats on the baby and lets see some pics!!
