DX,
The only diffs I know of are that the T's came with the fairing, bags, a different seat. Also that the X's came with black pipes.

CIB1Infantry: According to my '01 parts manual you are correct; the FXDX's for 49 states and Canada had black pipes...as well as the obvious (fairing and bags) the T also had it's own rear fender with mounts for the bags...looking for one for a "spare"...

Any of you FXDX/T pilots having front tires scalloping because of hard brake use???

Like to see more pics of these bikes, too...

Hey guys. my FXDXT finally showed up!!! I got here last Monday. Took it down to the DMV to get my plate and reg. and CA title, then rode it straight to my buddies shop. With the stock bars/pipes and bald tires with wore out brake pads, it needed to be serviced. Plus I am putting on 6 1/2 straight risers all PM grips and Pegs. New tires with the stock wheels powdercoated black. floating rotors all the way around. 95" kit with Woods Nightprowler gear driven cams. Rivera pro-clutch, chain drive, Mikuni 42 carb. forkbrace. Can't wait!! Will post pics as soon as I get it. Still can't believe how good of a deal I got on a bone stock and babied 02 DXT.

Haha, I will, went to the shop today. I should have it either tomorrow night or Wednesday. I will post them as soon as I get my bike home.

Default 2001 fxdxt

We have one and are looking to make a couple of mods. We can't find longer shocks (13.5 in) that specifically say they are for the FXDXT. Also we are looking to put a hitch on it, also with no luck. We could take it somewhere to get the stuff put on, but we like to wrench on our own ride. The shops that do the mods we want don't know what they will put on, but they know they can do it. So needless to say they aren't any help if we want to do it ourselves. We love our bike and won't ever part with it.
