They are not a bolt in. You'll need to change springs.

I would email Andrews and ask them. I have found conflicting info on the 54s. Don posted from the catalog that says Hi Lift springs, but I got an email from Gary Wallace, Andrews tech, that stated they can be run with stock springs...

Man if you are tearing the motor down to do the 103 scratch together the coin to send the heads out to be worked. I wish I would have done this the first time (tore the motor down twice in two month).

Actually...if you have an 08, shouldn't you already have the beehive springs which are stronger than 06 and below?

After doing some thinking last night. I believe the 54's can be used with the stock 07-09 springs but you will need adjustable pushrods.

Check with Andrews to be sure.

i didnt tear the the bike down to do the big bore kit i did it to have the the rocker boxes powder coated and i figured i would go ahead and put the cams in now since its tore down anyway. i called andrews and the tech said he recommends using the 54h cams but he didnt say anything about using adjustable pushrods?

Got ya.

Too much conflicting info. I do remember the tech telling me I needed adj. pushrods for the 54, but sh*t, who knows...

I would say get adj. pushrods anyway...if ya got any gearhead in ya, you're gonna go through a couple sets of cams till ya get what ya want! Adj. pushrods will save ya time down the road (removing rocker boxes) for another cam swap!
