Question Primary fluid....what does it lube?

Seriously, besides the obvious of the clutch.....what all does teh primary fluid lubricate? Im thinkn about removing the primary front and back to run my factory chain drive exposed ( with guards in appropriate places ). I asked in a different thread about the idea.....no responses though. I will be running a scorpion clutch which can be run dry but need to know what else relies on the primaries fluids. Any help?

the inner primary bearing is also lubed by the oil... you cant run an exposed chain unless you want to burn your bearing, the clutch and the chain

Yeah, there is alot more to running an open primary than just changing out the clutch. Alot more.

One can get a belt drive set up that is open the the air with fancy cut out cover, runs a dry clutch and a different pulley off the engine, that question is what or how will the IPB be lubed? Is there a special dry clutch IPB, don't know? Start doing some web site searches. The oil also wicks away the heat off the steel plates and clutch plates, lubes the chain, chain teeth on the sprockets and chain adjustment shoe.
