You don't have to remove anything except your wheel. They slide on and the bottom does set in the groove on the dust cap on your slider and the top zip ties in place.

I got mine through J & P. The 49mm short boots are for the Street Bobs, the long boots are for the WG's. I think Jammer makes them. Nice boots!

The price has dropped in the last few weeks for the Jammer 49mm forks boots to $34.99. They are designed to slip onto the chrome dust covers. Just Google for them.
