Default Fuse Location.

2008 Dyna Wide Glide. Am trying to access the fuses before I really need t o. Owner's manual says they are under the left side cover. Also states " no tools required for removal".The left side cover the way I see it is a chrome cover approx. 5" hi X 7" long with 2 Allen screws. Any help here would be appreciated. Thank You. Tom c.

Grab and Pull. It has two post that fit into rubber receivers. I also replaced the cap screws with nice chrome button heads. Not sure why they would put zinc cap screws on there that stick out.

Damit! Now My bike is not unique!

I actually tried to remove them thinking they held the cover on. Then I looked it up and knew. You would think they would have done something chrome or at least black. Makes the bike about $3.00 cheaper I guess.

Has anyone else modded their fuse box cover? Maybe something a bit more creative and unique then US66harley and I?

It is kind of a funny way to do things- have 2 ordinary screws holding the mount that holds the bracket that has the mounting posts on it.
At least you're starting out right by reading the book.
