Street Bob to FLH style

Street Bob to FLH style
I love the old shovelhead FLHs. The frame style and swing arm setup appear to be similar. I speaking visually, Im sure the new frame has many advantages.
Im looking into converting the bike to front and rear 16 inch wheels, full covered front forks with a 7 inch headlight, FLH style fenders front and rear.
I have seen some fat tire conversions on here and they look really cool.
Dont know if fork covers are made that will fit the 49mm forks or if Im better off going with a front end swap to either a heritage or fatboy setup.
Are there issues with this type of swap?
I want to go with steel fenders....any suggestions?
This is going to be the winter project...so I want to start to get the parts now.

ackman - your scoot is bad ***....is the rear wheel the stock 17? Anything special I need to swap the front end to the fatboy forks? Where is the best place to find a complete front end?
Joe - you have one of the meanest looking rides on this board. The FLH bags are cool.....glad you are ok...I read about your mishap.

Just doesn't look right; doesn't have the "flow" of the original. The plastic side covers, the too-upright angle on the rear shocks, the sharp upturn on the rear fender struts, and the fork tubes behind the trees just don't work together without the bags and a windshield or fairing.
