I am new here. I am looking for the 60519-10 WG chopped rear fender. I cannot find it online to order, is this something I have to go into HD to order?

 

Yea HD is the only place I've found it. $214 here in Louisiana from the dealership and then you need the inner fender brackets and strut covers. I got the Edge taillight kit also and the whole set up cost me around $450 plus paint.

Do I have to get the strut covers or can I go with the struts showing?

 

I ran naked struts for a while but ended up getting the covers because they give a cleaner more "finished" look.

 

i am looking to swap out my 2016 fxdf fender as well for the fxwdg, what year is your fxdf? Did you go with the 2010 fxdwg or did you go with a newer one?

 

i have a 2016 fxdf and want to do a fender swap with a fxdwg. Does it have to be a 2010? Or can if be a newer year?

 

Any should fit but the 2010 doesn't have the round strop light hole in the fender.

I am new member from Malaysia and riding a 2013 Dyna Fatbob (Introduced myself in new member section).

This thread been my guides for my bike rear fender conversion.

I am in mid of wide glide rear fender conversion and all is good except, I noticed the rear turn signal standoff (support) does not sit flush with the strut covers (59461-10 and 59459-10).

Please advise if I missed out anything or do I need to modify original standoff. Please share if I need to buy different standoff for it to sit flush with strut cover and part number please. Thanks...
