I have a set of black apes if you're interested. They are stock FXDB bars PC'ed black. Can be yours for cheap. Just sitting in my garage collecting dust. They were only on my bike for about 1500 miles. PM me if interested.

Hit my annual ride home to Colorado and back to The Bay hard this year, went ahead and pulled the tins and plasti-dipped the whip (1999 FXDX) while I was home, HWY 50 Americas lonliest road never dissappoints. This thread is rad, makes it that much harder to be original!

Got a few thousand miles on the beefy 1.5" riser and bar set up still love it. cut about 1.25" off each end of the pro tapers to get em just right back when I first got them

^^^LUCAS that color is sweet man. The black on the tank is a nice touch. Very clean bike. That first pic is awesome. I need to head out that way to ride!

Rad bike you have! Not too many bikes of this style around here (LA).
Are those new Protapers fro HD you're running?

I was not familiar with Hwy. 50 but looked it up upon reading your post. Looks like a 257 mile stretch from Fallon, NV to Ely, NV is absolutely desolate. Very nice.

Sweet bike man. I love seeing colored tins on a blacked out bike.
