windex will work just fine as said, the guy who used it on his bmw probably used a bad rag or a paper towel to clean with and caused scratches looking foggy, i see it happen alot on black

You can use just about anything to wash denim. I never had problems with car soap, dishwashing soap, windex, degreaser....hell you can probably piss on it and it would turn out fine. LOL.

I've been using Mr. Clean window cleaner with ammonia for the 4 years I've had my bike. No problems, the Denim paint is pretty damn rugged. I also use it on my powder coat and spray painted parts.

I've been known to inadvertantly use gasoline. And by the way, it's hard to look cool chatting with hotties at the gas pump while gas runs down the side of the tank. I'm overly cautious when pumping gas, but she was really cute...used that Jedi-mind-trick that turns dudes clumsy. Thankfully glass cleaner also cleans petroleum off of flat finishes.
