Just got handed a $400 gift certificate for Craftsman tools.....just looking for some advice on what interesting and useful tools I should be looking at. Keep in mind I already have a pretty decent set up of all the standard stuff (sockets, drivers etc.).....I'm thinking I could use a tap and die set, maybe a better torque wrench (I just have the old fashioned "pointer" kind) and a more extnesive set of wrenches but thought there might be some other stuff I haven't thought of that could come in handy when wrenching on the dyna......
As always; any advice is appreciated.

If you don't have one yet, get yourself a bike jack. Along with the torque wrench get yourself a set of Torx and Allen sockets. Be sure you get a T-27 torx.
Thanks guys........I have a bike jack; I have like 3 dremels I think (anyone need one?); I got the full set of torx sockets (hate those little buggers)....I'll prolly get the inch pound tourque wrench, some oversize sockets - snap ring pliers are a good idea (I have a cheap one but it sux) Gonna need a bigger tool box to put it all in too I guess.
Oh! and does anyone know the socket size I need to remove the cap on top of the fork tubes? I'm doing the drop in lowering springs so that might come in handy
Anything else?

I was gonna say - a nice tool box if you already have the tools. A nice torque wrench or two will probably eat up the bulk of that money anyway.
For the fork tube caps, 35mm but 36mm will work (ask me how I know). If you are going to do anything else to the front end, FYI it's all metric and the 12mm hex you need to remove the bolt in the bottom of the sliders typically doesn't come in most sets. Sears sells one for 8 bucks.
Man, give me $400 and a trip to Sears and I'm bound to spend $800 even if I go in not needing anything. Sign up for the Craftsman club if you aren't already in it.
