When my 2000 superglide is cold and i pull the choke **** out to the "choke on" position, I have to hold on to the **** or it just sucks back to the off position....so there i sit until it warms up, manually holding the choke lever....shouldnt it stay where i put it when the motor is cold?????

 

Once you pull the choke **** out, you'll see a round black plastic piece(Nut). Tighten this nut a bit and the choke will stay out.

 

2001 FXDL and same problem.
