Default the Iac valve and linkage stop screw

I have an 07 street bob and have been having problems very recently with low idle and sometimes it dies. Iv tryed cleaning the IAC with carb cleaner and this does help. About a year ago I adjusted the linkage stop screw to help lower the idle. Anyway I read somewhere this may be the cause of all my problems because it throws off the IAC SENSOR.

yeah, your not supposed to lower the idle on the newer twincams... mostly charging and oil pressure issues...

The IAC seems to get fouled by the oil vapors that are reintroduced to the throttle body. Using some carb cleaner spray a little cleaner in the IAC orifice and turn the ignition off and on a couple of times, the metering needle of the IAC should free up, and hold the idle. It's my understanding the idle is adjusted via a computer input to the ECU.
