Default Highway pegs for 2010 FXDB

Just ordered highway peg kit and pegs for my 2010 SB Denim Black. Anyone install the below kit ? Would like to know which height setting did you use ? High or Low? how long your inseam is ? I am trying to get a feel which hole to use on the plate. Also I am going to powder coat the plate that goes on the frame and the bolt to hold it, to match the bike. Have not decided between gloss black to match the frame or flat black to match the tank and fenders. Also anyone know if this kit scrapes in the twisties ? TIA.

Dude, check ebay before you buy those. Highway pegs kits show up on there all the time for half the price. Also, you can find pegs other than stock for the same price as those too.

Sorry, I just saw that you already ordered the kit. I'm not sure how the adjustable ones are, probably better than the rigid ones I have. Mine are comfortable, but not perfect. The adjustable ones should fit more perfectly. For info I'm 5'9 with a 32in inseam and Id like mine about 1/2 inch closer.

Dragon I ordered fron Chicago HD so at least it was 20 percent off. I went with the stock pegs to match the mids do not like the loud looking pegs. In the future I rather upgrade to mini floor boards. BTW I took your advice the other day and ordered the tool bag you mentioned from Foxcreek. They have some customer service as the tool bag was shipped out within an hour of ordering. Don't know how they provide such high customer service.

I picked some up from http://www.acmparts.net/productdetail.htm?productId=7624832&ez=44107

Quality seems top notch…..adjustable, but unfortunately not enough for my 29” inseam. I may be ebaying mine one of these days.

I have the same ones and also have a 29" inseam. I made a new mount out of a piece of flat steel that is bolted to the original mounting holes on the frame and then the highway mounts are bolted to it. The pegs are now a little higher and close enough to me that my knees have a little bend to them unlike before where I was totaly stretched out and uncomfortable. Cost me all of about 10$ for the steel and the can of paint, and about 4 hours of my time.

Never seen those….nice tip man! I’ll be in for a bill on these highway pegs before it’s all over with after all.

I had the standard HD like you just purchased, the forward position was not comfortable for my 34" inseam. Take a look at these: http://rivcoproducts.com/products/pr...cat=221&page=1

I also looked at the Kury "mustach bar" these give me more adjustment in any direction.

This is what I went with to better reach the highway pegs...it moved the pegs about 1 1/4" closer for my 29" inseam.
