Default Removing Turn Signals

I am wanting to remove my turn signals. What is the best way? Just cut the wires (which does not sound best) or is there somewhere I can unhook them. If I just unhook them will it leave an open circuit? Oh yeah it is on a 09 Streetbob.

the rears just unplug from inside of the tail light

the front signal connectors are inside of the frame,
you will need to remove the fuel line to the pet ****, remove gas tank bolts and move it back. there is a plastic cover you can remove and the connectors are in there, you will most likely going to have to take the rubber out of the sides of the frame.

i am not sure how the wires connect to the switches on the handle bar controls i would just take them apart and look, but someone may come along with a better answer for you

Remove the tank, under the frame remove the black plastic cover under the highest part of the frame, remove the Right and left rubber grommet where the wires from your bars feed in the frame, fish out the wires and remove the 3 postion AMP Multilock connectors (black right/White Left), the connectors will come out of the Mutilock connector to pull through your wires, it takes awhile to figure out, but they will come, I have not touched the rear. I will buy your fronts if you do not cut them? I'm pretty sure you can leave them as is unplugged.

Snow...I will see what I can do, without cutting them. I think I have changed my mind from 18's to 16's. Since I looked at yours. That looks nice!

Watch out. I unplugged the front turn signals on a 08 Nightster and it changed the way the rear blinked. They would blink a couple times normally then blink really fast till they went off.

Yes I like the 16's, if they were any higher I think my neck and arms would hurt after a long ride. I think the Burly Narrow bars look great on a bob, carlini's also. I recently changed my bars out so if you have any questions, don't hesitate. SC Longhair has alot good tips on bar change outs.

I just relocated the front signals on my Fat Bob. GO BUY THE SERVICE MANUAL. It is like $60 but will save your @$$ when you have to disconnet the AMP connectors. Be prepared to slide the tank back and crack open both switch boxes on your handle bars. The project I thought would take 90 minutes max took me the better part of a day.
