The OP mentioned "gangster" apes. Those are made by Carlini Designs. www.carlinidesigns.com. Expect to pay out the wazoo for them.

I think the turn signals are out of place being that high. otherwise, they look alright.

Seriously, they look great with that wide front end and big tire... They may not be right for some, but who cares what anybody else thinks... Now you will never lose you bike in a crowd...
