The widglide offers more stability and a smother ride especially with the 16 " front tire.

Ok I know this is a terribly old thread, but I figured since it was about people swapping front ends on their dyna I would check it out....I'm trying to find a 39mm narrow glide front end, I've got cash or if someone wants a bigger front end I would trade the front end from a 2006 streetbob with wheel and tire....anybody got any leads? You can also text me 541-499-7053

Ya I saw some of them, but they were all about 600-1000 bucks which seems pretty steep to me.

I agree that's insane. I paid $125 for the last one I picked up. The one before that was $200. Keep your eye on craigslist.

Ya that price is way more reasonable, I have never spent more than about 200 bucks in a used front end, I don't know why they are so much on eBay
