I really like the look of the 2010 CVO Softail Convertible FLSTSE's Detachable compact fairing with smoked windshield. I would love to get my hands on one and convert for my 2008 FXDL. I can't seem to find the part anywhere? Anyone know if HD sells them? If not, anyone know of a very similar product?

 

H-D does sell cvo parts... for some parts, you have to have proof of owning a CVO to get the part though.... The fairing is awesome.... I absolutely think they hit a big home run with that bike...I would head to the dealer to see if you can buy the fairing. You will have to mock up something to make it fit your current front end though.

 

Ya like Rounder said they sell them but some, Mainly tins and name plates you have to show a VIN number.

I have CVO bars (make that had lol) on mine I ordered online. I just bought the parts manual for the CVO bike and used it for the part numbers I needed.

 

No nice at the local dealer. He said CVO parts are dealer ordered for a specific bike. Need the VIN. Anyone know of another way to order one or know of an after market knockoff?

 

don't be too worried, that front fairing/windshield would not fit your bike anyways.

you can buy smaller sized windscreens with good shape to them... national cycle, windvest, and others... J&P has a good selection of windscreens... so does dennis Kirk...

 

personally id rather have the detachable saddlebag set up that the CVO softail convertable has.
