I got a set of Medium Cruiser III's on sale from Revzilla for $125. I figure at that price, they're worth a shot.
I don't like how they attach, but I guess that's the nature of throw overs. I picked up some plexiglass and fender washers today and plan to rig a mount that won't require the throw over yoke. I have a couple ideas: one is to to drill into the detachable sissy-bar side plates and mount it there, the other is to follow Ratbob's docking mount solution which would require relocating the turn signals. I have everything I need to do either, so I guess it'll come down to looks.
Here are some shots of how the bags look. I sandwiched the yoke between 2 fender bibs because the underside doesn't look very scratch-proof. They'd probably look better with a 2 up seat. I also had to use black bungee cords for the rear because my package was missing the other 2 loop straps. I think the bungee actually works and looks better.
