I see on the HD site and as well on eBay this is one of the cheaper solo seats you can get. Has anybody tried one of these please and how did you find it? I was considering the "Brawler" but can one justify the higher cost? I'm 6'1" and me new bike is a '08 Wide Glide.

I considered the Sundowner Solo for my 2010 Wide Glide and my dealer was nice enough to order one in and install it on the Wide Glide floor model. I have heard quite a few riders say this seat is very comfortable but I just couldn't get past the looks of it. I ended up getting the Mustang Vintage solo and I am very pleased with it.

Too large. Spoils the look of the bike. Brawler much better looking.

 

to sacrafice comfort for looks it seems. How does the Brawler feel on a small 3 hour trip perhaps?
