Default Lowers painted!

So, I expoxy painted my lowers yesterday with the assistance of JRK5892's post. The painting itself was no big deal, but before I painted I decided to air out my garage. I opened the side door, wich I have not opened in a year or so and BAM I get hit in the face with a freaking bed frame. So, after my hospital visit and 7 stiches in my face I finished painting. I am very happy with the results, the only thing I will note that I had not read in other posts is vacuum your work space prior to painting. Every little dust particle or piece of hair would stick to the fork legs. Also make sure you tape around the dusk seals carefully, because mine was a little off so I made need to touch it up. Thanks again JRK 5892 for the write up.

At least you turned out with a beautiful turn out (not your face)!! LOL! Bike looks good. Check anything in your garage that you don't want paint on. My fender was 20 feet away in the back in the garage and still got over spray on it. Spent an hour buffing the paint off, luckily it wasn't fully cured.

Thanks guys. JaronB, I read your post and put my fender and windshield in the house to avoid that. Think I might have got some on my truck's front bumper though.

I used the miguires tech wax 2.0 and globbed a bunch on there and just kept on polishing and buffing till it was smooth again. Luckily I had enough wax already on the bike I think it made it easier to get the overspray off.

The price we pay to customize our rides.... great job on the lowers. Sucks about the stitches but you could always come up with a more interesting version of that story. Let it involve a water tower and defending your sister or wife's honor.

That a boy... don't let a facial gash and a few stitches slow you down.
The black really made a difference... LOOKS GREAT!!

Looks good man! Which other thread are you talking about? Do you have a link?

What kind of epoxy did you use? Where did you get it?
