Helps a ton, especially at highway speeds - if you set them up right you get hardly any strain on your feet and legs.

I put them on my bike and they make a huge difference.

It makes a difference at higher speeds when you can put pressure on the pegs in two places to stabilize yourself, rather than pivoting on just the peg.

I took the pegs and stirrups of my 03 Wide Glide last year before I traded it and then couldn't hardly stand to ride it anymore, legs got real uncomfortable. I had the Harley heel rests first, but much prefer the Kuryakyn stirrups.

So, here's a question...

I have the Kury forwards, and HD pegs. To do stirrups, do I need Kury, HD, or will either do?

You should be able to use either set as they are actually part of the bike and attach to the frame.
I have an aftermarket set that look exactly like the Kury's, but only cost about $40. Try eBay, can't recall the brand, but they work great. Help keep your feet off the pipes, too.

I have the same problem on longer rides. I need to get a pair of these stirrups too.

I thought about stirrups for awhile. Considering it is mainly a place to rest your heals and make the ride more comfortable, i just started putting my heals on the pegs allowing me to stretch out a bit more on the bike anyway. If I really want to stretch out I rest the back of my heals on the pegs. This is with 3" extended forward controls.
