Default [Pix] RS Siren on a 2010 FXDWG

I bought this RS siren.

Removed Seat.

Unbolted fuse box and pulled it out. Located the siren port.

Testing the siren. Siren Red goes to HD Brown. Siren Black goes to HD Green.

Put the stock connector cap back on, this holds the wires. Wrapped the cap and the wire loom in tape. Put the RS siren in the slot for the optional HD siren in the back of the fuse box. Zip-tied a siren mounting hole to the tab that retains the optional HD siren.

Shoved the siren port into an empty slot in the back of the fuse box. Here is a close-up shot of the RS siren zip-tied to the HD siren retaining tab.

How does it sound? Does it beep when setting? I want to do it as well did you have to order the RS siren?

It sounds like a typical bike alarm. It chirps when it arms, but the chirp is very quiet. I bought the siren in a retail store.

Default ok. Now I'll ask the dumb questions

Now, for the dumb girl question.....Is this something that can be added to a bike that all ready has existing alarm? Is this just to add more sound? I don't get it. Or... are you like me and don't have an alarm and want to sound like you do? Sorry, someone has to ask the silly, self explanatory questions around here.

My bike has the factory alarm, I just added the siren for an audible alert.
