Im going to get a new tire and tube soon, and I am looking at the AVON Roadrider.

Anyone running this tire?

what do you think of it?

The Reason:

I noticed on my first ride after all my mods i would get a slight death wobble if i let go of the bars.
when i got back into the garage i took a look at my front tire (dunlop d402 mh90-21) and noticed it was a little unevenly worn.

i have had a slow leak for a few months (maybe 6) so im guessing the fluctuating tire pressures have been the
culprit to the wear... seems to be worn more on the exhaust side of the bike...

I run that tire and Dyna beads...........120 and take my hands off the bars and straight as an arrow.......never ever had the so called "death wobble"

 

thedonthere- this death wobble **** has to be my screwed up tire....i never felt it with my apes... i see your back in ca now we should ride sometime...

 

I have the 90/90/21 Avon Venom, love it, and as mentioned, I can take my hands off at ant speed, smoooth and straight! Nice sticky tire too!

 

anyone else? i guess ill check the fall away tonight see what happens....
