I'm another new FXDF owner that isn't crazy about the rear fender. I'm OK with basic mechanics but don't have a ton of experience or tools and don't want to make stupid, expensive mistakes.

I've seen pics from guys that put Wide Glide, Street Bob and now Street Glide fenders on the rear. Are these pretty straight-forward swaps or is there some bend-it, twist-it, jerry-rig, make-it-fit required?

 

The Wide Glide fender swap is a direct exchange. The Street Bob fender is a different width than the WG or FB. Probably just need some spacers or perhaps the fender just flexes enough to make it work.

 

Can you guys that have done the WG fender swap post some good side shots of it?
