So, I was working from home today. It was too nice to sit in front of this PC....so I jumped on my scoot to go up and down Lake Shore Drive. A little warm but I only wore my old plastic skateboard helmet. I beat the rush hour traffic and got in before the forecasted 5pm thunderstorm.

Anybody ever been on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago? I wouldn't compare it to the Tail of the Dragon...but it's got a few curves and some awesome views of the lake, Soldier Field, and downtown.

hey bud you should hit me up... 417-425-9406... we will all be out tomrorrow, we are hitting modders Vs Rockers bike show in the morning and then going on a ride all day around 2 after the show... should be a big ol group of us (prob around 20 or so) be a good time!

 

also... as much as i love lakeshore drive it is a death trap with no shoulder and those huge walls per side, got a buddy that lost his leg on there 2 years ago

 

Sorry I missed the ride....I was at the Cubs game with the family. I would rather have been riding but anything was great for a day like yesterday.

I'll be up for the next one.

Dang, today is off and on rain all day. Maybe I'll sneak in a ride later tonight.
