That's a really bad idea. Sportbikes weigh so much less than Harleys that you would blow out the suspension right away, if it even carried the Harley in the first place. There is way too much engineering in a suspension to just go switching *****-nilly. Changing/modifying suspension is cool, but be sure that anything you put on was designed for your sled - or at least for one of similar weight.
there are ways to improve handling.less unsprung weight.true trac, fork brace, shocks etc.also lighten up as much as possible.less weight means more usable horsepower/torque

Yeah, just put a set of FXDX forks on it. They are 3 way adjustable cartridge dual disc forks. I did have an air adjustable XS1100 Yamaha front fork on an old shovelhead superglide for many years. It worked better than anything harley has ever put on one.

The problem is besides they are quite expensive... they are not in your every day buy ir now list.................. and I would like to get a quick fix for my 41mm tubes!
I put the Ohlins HD219 on the rear (major upgrade), and I've been talking with Howard at motorcyclemetal.com about converting my 39mm narrow glide to the 49mm mid glide with the new Ohlins FGK 30mm cartridges.
