Hi there! I'm lookin to buy a 2010 wide glide. I need your opinion about a couple things:
It has vance and hines short shots on it and when i asked the dealer if they did any performance mods with the exhaust install they said no it did not need it. Does this make sense to anyone? Everything i read says at least an a/c upgrade and a download is necessary. Never had this new of a bike before so excuse the ignorance.

And last but not least..... Whats better the flame bike or the all black one !!!!

Hello and welcome to the forum, if your asking if upgrading the air intake and throwing a tuner on is necessary its not, but its what you will end up doing , you can throw pipes on the bike without changing anything else but if you add a high flow filter and pipes you will need a tuner. Hope this helps. And of course the flames!

I went with the flames. Night or day it looks hot.

 

Mine was black when i pulled out of the showroom, flames just showed up when I hit 6th gear.
