How are we supposed to know how strong you and your friend are?

I have to agree... When you rush to get something done, it is always going to wind up costing you. Wait until you have the proper tools for the jobs. In my experiences, shortcuts always seem to take a lot more time, and money.

This is your motorcycle you are working on, not your car, if you dont do it right, it could wind up hurting you.

If you dont know what you are doing, let someone who does know do the work for you.

I built a lift for my front out of some scrap wood I had in the garage. I put my front end on it then just use a regular floor Jack to lift the rear up.

This stuff scares me. It's so easy for a bike to start tipping.

I paid $75 for my Harbor Freight lift, spent an hour and $7 modifying it, and now it's invaluable (even though it's still a piece of crap). Paid for itself ten times over.

Bought some longer/thicker bolts and moved the rails to the outside, so it's wide enough to hold a Dyna. Works great, and very solid.
