Default 10" Z bars vs. 8" Z bars

I have an '06 SuperGlide and I'm almost positive I'm gonna put Z bars on. I know that 8" Z bars won't require any new cables, but I still haven't ruled out the 10" bars. So my question is.... Will I have to mess with buying longer cables for the 10" Z bars to work?

Thanks!

I'd guess that the 10" ones will require longer cables or at least a little stretching. I say this because I just switched to 8" risers with drag bars and the cables fit the same as with the buckhorns. Two more inches and the brake line would need some tweaking for sure.

As a side note, I first tried 5-1/2" risers with the same drag bars and the handling was super, dang near reminded me of how my dirt bike handled. However, the cables were too long and the severe "S" shape that the brake line took made it look like it might pinch off the fluid. I just switched to the 8" risers and the problem was solved...But that tight handling flew out the window.
