i got a question for you if you dont mind.looking at your fer sale items i seen this was wondering why did you have to weld the nut back in thanks

K and N air Filter # 29442-99A ($15.00) * This is like new but I had to weld the center nut back into it.

 

When I purchased my WG, I had the stage 1 installed. After about a month the original large air cleaner cover that I was running came loose, come to find out the dealer over tourqed the screw and it had too much pressure on the center nut. Anyway, they warrantied the item and gave the 1st one back, so I spot welded it back in place. This filter is only a month or so old and still looks new.
