Default Help... popping in decel need good Dyna FXDB Street Bob map...

Hi all I just bought my first Harley. Its great! The guy I bought it from already had the FXDB Street Bob modified with V&H Side Shots and the O2 Sensors removed.

I took off the teardrop air filter and put a backing plate on with a round Arlen Ness high flow filter... (Just like K&N).

Does anybody have, or can anybody help me out with a proper Dynojet Power Commander 3 fuel map for my setup?

Below is the current map I am running.

Thanks

Dan

My bike is:

2008 Harley Davidson Dyna
Vance & Hines Side Shots
Arlen Ness (K&N) High Flow Air Filter
Stock ECM
DynoJet O2 sensor eliminators installed

The fuel map is:

2007 Harley Davidson Dyna
Vance & Hines Big Radius exhaust w/standard baffles
Screamin' Eagle air filter
Stock ECM
Dynojet O2 sensor eliminators installed
Rev Xtend enabled

always going to get popping with sideshots, I have them on my bike if you want to get rid of it then buy some BCT baffles and it will dissapper But you will lose 10 - 15kmp off the top end.

I tuned with TTS and still get it if I dont roll off the throttle correctly.

If I'm not mistaken the big radius is a 2 into 1. You need a map for some short 2 into 2's. The brand won't matter all short pipes are pretty much the same (low back pressure). Check the Dynojet website then try out all the maps for short pipes.

The canned maps are just a base to work with. Technically you should get it tuned but don't necessarily expect the popping to go away.

Even though your map shows no gas on the 0% throttle position, I remember being told how the pcIII isn't able to completely shut gas off and that's what is causing the popping.

I think some of the popping is just the design of the sideshot pipes...I had a SE Pro Super Tuner installed and dyno tuned and still have some popping on decel but the bike runs great thru the low, mid and high rpm ranges.

You are mistaken the Big Radius comes both ways..2-2 and 2-1
