hey guys im wanting to drop a wide glide front end on my 01 lowrider....i know ill need spacer for front wheel,,,and new fender,,,but ant ideas where to get a nice frontend fairley cheap meaning 500 or 600 bucks ...and was curious about adding 2 inchs and 2 degrees rake what that would get me thx
The stock wide glide trees have 3 degrees in them so you will have 35 degrees overall and the best place would be ebay and you also need a rotor spacer, check out vulken engineering they have kits for conversions
trees and spacers is all you need for the most part, and a way to shim your brake caliper. unless u want the longer tubes also, i swapped my front end out to a wide glide just recently, not hard at all
I bought the Jireh conversion for my Low Rider. $329 total, plus a second rotor spacer for the other side, since I had Dual discs's up front. Everything included. To me the extra 2mm from 39 to 41 wasn't worth the extra money for tubes and sliders.
anybody bought an aftermarket wideglide front end,,im looking at a 4"over stock length and 5 degree rake in tree,,,would that make it hard to handle. i found some nice front ends at demons cycles online the have good reviews from what i read any help would be good thanks
