Bassani Roadrage?
Anyone have one of these or the regular roadrage? I was curious about performance. I have V & H pro-pipe now and i either have good bell shaped torque curve with modified standard baffle or extreme torque dip @ 2500-3000 RPM(right where you ride) with Competition baffle but gain 7 TQ/2 HP @ 4000 RPM over standard baffle. 7 TQ is a lot to lose! I also lose 5 MPG with the competition baffle due to low TQ output at the RPM i ride. Ought to look good on FXDX with plenty of ground clearance. Might look stupid on wide glide though.
95 " Dyna/TW 55G cams/42MM mikuni/DTT programmable ignition module. Everything is tuned right and i mapped the ignition so i figure the difference is solely in the pipe.

Extreme torque dip at 2500-3000? That would knock that option out of the box for me. If I wanted revs, I would have bought a sports bike. Also, there may very well be a substantial (if somewhat less extreme) torque dip+from 1500-2500 and from 3000 to 3500+ RPM. To me, that would kill all the reason why I bought a bike of this type. No pipe, or cam, or whatever is going to make the ultimate missile out of your ride anyway. I say (for whatever it's worth) keep it fairly close to the bike's intended purpose.

I have that pipe and I do not know how it affects my performance because it was installed along with a lot of other parts. I will say this though, it is a HOT pipe to live with. If you get stuck in traffic going nowhere, you right inner thigh will pay for your decision. Have a buddy that has one and couldn't stand it, so it is now wrapped and will probably last a few years because he doesn't ride much. It is also L-O-U-D. If you are hard of hearing it will make it worse for sure.
