I asked my dealer if this led fuel gauge would work on my 2010 FXDC and the answer was NO, was he talking nonsense or is this really the case?

Funny you mentioned the blue "gas pump" LED on the guage. My icon stopped working about the same time some of the fuel level indicators crapped after about 6 months. Replace under warranty and no troubles since.

i have heard these gauges have had issues in the past...had mine installed and are under the bike 2 year warranty--have a year left

Have the Cross type LED fuel guage. Ain't worth a Crap, it shows what ever it is in the mood for. Have filled her up get all the lights, then drive around the corner and is shows maybe 4. Even the stock guage was garbage. Long before I put in the 2" tank lift
