Yeah, it's winter...more n00b questions

I'd like to know from anyone that changes out thier oil in the spring, do you do all three holes? I know I'd like to do it in the motor, but what about the other two?

I do all three on the 1000 mile service to change to synthetic in all three holes. Then every ten tousand service

Just follow the guidelines in your manual and you will be fine. That said I would change the engine oil and filter at least once per year even if you don't ride much.
