Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather...mostly looks or performance?

Cool, thanks. I hate to blow the money but that alone would make it worth it for me. Nothing worse than hitting the throttle and then maybe it wakes up...or not...before releasing the clutch.

Heavy Breather
I don't think it is just sales that drives the MOCO to say that intake is recommended for the 120R. If it was just sales, they could just come out with something new and charge the same price as the heavy for it and say it is a mandatory add on the the 120R. I notice a good increase in torque when the air is cold and it's more than with just the stage one intake.

Significant improvement in performance. More than speed, the bike feels HAPPY now. The 103 was always quick enough for me, but it felt like it was really working to make speed. Now it feels effortless. 3000 rpm feels smooth where before it was rough.
Runs much smoother, belches just a hint of black when you crank it, sounds much nicer but not V&H loud. My wife was gleeful when I cranked it - she gets giddy with acceleration and this made her happy.
My opinion, based on having just done the job an hour ago is that it is well worth it.
Do it.

I put one on a 42MM mikuni carbed 95" Dyna with a built motor that had the regular SE breather kit. I had to go up one size on pilot jet and 2 main jet sizes and the bike ran very very much better. My results would not be typical for this engine flows very well and it turns out the Heavy Breather was the magic combination. It seems to be cooling the intake air from a vacuum effect from what i can feel with my hand on the intake runner. Cooler air is of course more dense and the reason for the rejetting.

Maybe a dumb question:
I have a Big Sucker and Thunderheader, and tuned with Powervision. VERY happy with performance.
If I switch to Heavy Breather do I need to re-tune?
Or is one open air filter pretty much the same as any other?
Only considering changing because I had one given to me and thought I'd try it for awhile only if it didnt mean re-tuning....
Thanks in advance.
