Default finally got it back - 8 months off road - happy as a pig in sh*t

back in may took my fairly standard 06 bob to a local engineering firm

changed the wheels pair of 200/55/18, and cut off the rear struts - just behind the shock mount - fitted a floating rear guard, 1940's style pan seat, progressive 11 inch rear shocks

started work on new front end - new custom triple trees

Dry build with wheel in place

front end starting to take shape

new brake light fitted

parts coming back from the powder coater

FRONT END

BACK END

finally back home at the ranch - DA MONSTER is born

tucked up in bed with the stable mates

now off to EBAY lots of parts for sale - need to recover some of the build costs

unusual is the kindest thing to say - however new tires, -1 Celsius and snow and a 30 mile twisting road ride, and a 10 mile highway blast (95mph). Once the tires scrub up it should be fine, it felt very light on the front, but the tire shape did make it notchy

I Like It. That is one fat front end. Can I ask why you ran the brake line in front of the triple tree? IMHO it would look better behind it. Great Job

Good work man but yeah, that brake line sticks out like a sore thumb,

I'm not really a fan of such a fat front but I reckon it would look neat with a fatter rear,
like a 240, alot more work I know and Its only my opinion lol.

got some straight side on photos of both sides?
