Betty;

Here's a pic of the inside.

The inner part of the shell itself has the same high-gloss finish as the outside. There are
two large, rectangular, vertical box-sections that strengthen the shell for the mountings and
they have a smooth, but somewhat pebbly surface. At the very end of the headlight "tunnel",
there is a somewhat flexible section designed to act as an air seal and internal deflector
around the headlight.

While the different components have differing finishes because they are different materials,
all parts of the Batwing are very well finished.. no rough edges, no visible matting;

It's a top grade product.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, too. I'm ALMOST there with the lower deflectors that
I'd been using with the windshield, and I'm positive that I need a taller clear section,
so I'll try all that first before adding the lower edges. I made two adjustments to
the deflectors while I was out riding today and they made a big improvement so I'm
hoping that I will not need to add those extra bits to the fairing. We'll see...

Sorry, should have mentioned that. Mine is the Harley model. I believe Bry used a Yamaha
on his bike. I hove no idea what the differences actually are.

Ok thanks

Was thinking of trying a Tsukayu one but for the price difference I may go with a Memphis shades in case I don't like it.

bberk the only thing I can tell that may be different is the width of the bracket mounting points inside the fairing. The one I have is from a Yamaha Vstar 600 and the fork width happened to be almost dead on to the Wide Glide front where it allowed me to use my HD quick release clamps.

Maybe Mike can measure his to compare to my measurements below:

My measurements are 8 1/2 at the clamp's midpoints. Bry's set have the bracket flanges on
the outside of the mounting point, mine are inside so that measure is going to be different
because of the difference between a Wide-Glide and a Super-Glide.

If his had been fabricated like mine, they would have been too narrow for his forks.

FWIW, my brackets are 11 1/2 inches apart with the clamps bolted to their inner edge..
My brackets flair out about 1/3 of an inch to get the proper spacing for the clamps as the
inner mounting was a smidgen too narrow. If I had mounted the brackets toward the outside
as Bry did, I'd have had to use really big spacers to get the clamps where they needed to go.

EDIT::::

OK, Here's a pic. Sorry for the poor quality, but since the brackets and the fairings are
both black, it's like photographing a black cat in a coal mine..
