Default Just became a statistic

Well, I just became one of the statisitics, Was on way home from Barnes & Noble, turning into a gas station hit a slick spot and slid into a fire hydrant, wasted handle bars, crash bar, gear shift lever, front fork at least on one side, lower fork assy, front wheel and fender, and dented gas tank. Was uninjured. Actually had several people check to see if was ok, (that was nice and appreciated). Got it home and told the missues, now must begin reconstruction, will take some time but will get there since am still paying for the thing (2008 Superglide). What hurts is was aniversary edition and the paint for that won't be cheap. Oh well, will see what comes out of this.

Bad news dropping the bike but at least you're ok, which has to be the main thing.

Also a good excuse to make a few changes and make it truly yours!
