Default Just Installed Cycle Shack Slip Ons. Remap?

I just installed cycle shack slip ons on my 09 Street Bob. It seems to run great. Do I need to remap? Could it cause damage if I don't?

Did the same thing on my 2010 fxdc and the answer is No. You do not need to unless you change out the air filter as well. I was told this by the stealership. I think you made a wise choice in the Cycle shacks, they sound great.

Why if the ir filter too? I did both on my 06 and I believe the factory system compensates for the change unless you start changing more in depth system components. With the earlier manganelli system you had to. But not so much on the newer bikes unless you go to extremes with drags and a velocity stack unless you develope a miss

No.

But if it's running a lil lean and you want to fatten it up a bit, try a set of
Xied's. Inexpensive and a 15 minute install.

Some reading material ---> http://www.nightrider.com/parts/

I ran that setup on my last bike. Ran great. However there's no replacement for a full stage one upgrade when the wallet allows.

Thanks guys....I thought that I was fine but I wanted to double check. It is a pretty new bike so I didn't want to mess it up. BTW I got the cycle shack slip ons new from ebay for 95 bucks shipped. I am very happy with them.

That is a good combo,I run the xied's and screaming eagle slipons,runs great and the plugs look perfect.
