I bought the Fat Bob to trike out because it had dual front brakes, beefier front end, wider front tire, exposed rear shocks, and forward controls. Didnt like the rear fender or dual headlight on the stock bike by itself but think they look good on the trike. Also added 5 degree rake to it. It was a good handling bike befor triking it and still is.

Most expensive dyna (I think), styling is different, I like the headlights but not the front tire.

I like mine, liked the look of the front tire and duel headlights. I don't mind the rear fender, just the awful tail light. I have had the bike for 3 years now and I have got to change out that ugly red wart on the back.

I agree with you that you don't see very many on the road, at least not up here. I like that too.

Fat Bob is a cool bike - but the St. Bob saved Dyna. Can't go wrong with either. IMO they never should have toasted the old wide glides.

Absolutely loved my FatBob, but I love my SG more. Until I win the lottery, I can't have both.

If I buy another Dyna, it will be a Fatbob. I love the looks, the tires and especially the dual disc front brake.

Fat bob is alright but I just like the street bob alot more. Fat bob would be my third choice behind the street bob and the new wide glide.

I really think if Harley was to change the rear fender for one similar to the wide glide alot more people would be interested, Maybe have a fender option when you order the bike new...

I think Harley already did a bike with no chrome quite well...the StreetBob. If your going to build a no chrome bike it seems minimalist and basic sell the best. The Fatbob's a new design. People wanting that minimalist styling went with the StreetBob. At least thats my take on it.

I love all the dyna's great bikes and they each have their own personality. Having said that my next bike will be a road king, then I will bob out my fxd.
