Default easy way to install billet headlamp

Hi, do somebody know how to change my headlamp from my dyna wide glide 2011 for a billet headlamp 4 1/2 in a easy way? I have a instruction document what say that i have to disconnect negative, remove fuel tank etc. is there a easier way or is it to difficult for a amateur like me?

regards from Aruba

argggg find it myself... just remove frame tube and cover, after this i disconnect connector and replace headlamp.

I have a 2" tank lift on my bike so when I did the change out I reached up under the backbone and removed the black plastic cover. You'll need to carefully pull out some of the wire harness to gain access to the headlight wiring harness. Hand-over-hand it back from the headlight. Once you've located it you'll need to pull it out a little. Be aware that my headlight wires were flip-flopped on the high and low beams. I had to take the connector apart to move the two wires into the proper position so when I hit the high beams with the high beam switch the high beams came on and not the low beams.

I just turned my bars to the left pulled the rubber from the frame then pulled the wires till I could unplug them, it didn't take long and I don't have a tank lift. I'll go out and take a pic and show how long it takes.

It took longer to download the pic than it did to pull the wires.

I also pulled a little bit of wire from the frame, about 4-6 inches, and then cut it and attached the new wires. Heat shrunk them and tucked them back into the frame. I switched headlights in under 10 mins working slow. If I could do it anyone could!
