Talking Fat Bob FXDF Screen / Windshield

So finally got a screen sorted for my Fatty. It is a National Cycle Deflector DX which I have trimmed the bottom front edges to allow it to sit closer to the headlamps. It's a real neat little screen and I particularly like the fittings supplied which give it lots of adjustment. The screen is detached by undoing the two large round ***** on the bars so cleaning is a doddle.

Looks awsome. I have been looking at this shield. How does it perform? What did you use to trim it?

Just put the same on mine and still fiddling a bit with the adjustments. I think i may do the trim thing too - did you just grind or what?

Also, I too took the decal off - but it left a little adhesive residue. What did you use to remove that?

Cool. I hate the fact that you have green grass already.

Those look pretty cool! Do you have any pictures from head on and from the sides?

Please report how this works for buffeting with the wind. I can not stand my hd quickrelease due to the buffeting and helmet shake I get. I am 6'0'' with fat bob

Here are some more pictures showing the front. I have moved the screen very slightly forward and one click lower at the back to ensure my head is above the stream of air that comes off it at speed. The screen makes a big difference to higher speed rides.

Sticky stuff remover to get the decals off and I used a Dremel tool to grind the edges of the screen which was very easy.
