Ok So I got the new avon cobra tires for my fat bob.. First thing I have to say is they look ****ing awesome.. I really like the wider look. I only have about a hundred miles on them so far and they seem to handle much better than the stock dunlops and they ride a bit softer as well. Tar strips are my friend now i ride on them now and dont get that squirm from the tar strip.. so not a lot of miles on them yet but there will be soon.
those look good i have been going back and forth on what i want for tires. a lot of reading. been looking at avons and metzlers now that i see what the avons look like on the fb i am leaning that way. thanks for the pic post
Look great. What size did you get for front and rear? I purchased the Avon Cobra's 71V 200/60R-16 rear & 79V 150/80R-16 but haven't installed yet. Waiting on some stuff to get PC'd first.

I have the same sizes on the bob .. That is the only sizes that they offer in a match set of tires..

Just a bit of advice from someone who is on his second Cobra rear...
They may feel softer because they need to be run at higher pressure than the stock Dunlops. Check the Avon website for their recommendation.

I looked at Avon's Website and I didnt see anything about psi recommendations at all. Switching from the stock Bias-ply tire to the Radial tire is what cushioned the ride.
I run 40-42 front and 42-44 rear in my avons although they are Venoms and not cobras. Part of teh "softness" is the fact that the rubber is a much softer compund taht sticks to the ground much better. Amen for good tires. They are well worth the extra money always.
