whats the biggest rear tire i can ride without doing any mods? and whats a good brand tire thats sticks better than my stock michelin?

110/90H-19 front (Bias). 170/60R17 rear (radial) radial tube
Metzeler Me 880 marathon
tire pressure
front 38-40 lbs
rear 40-42 lbs
That's what I use. Love them, great traction.
No mods

 

I run my Metz 170/60/17 at 37psi. Am I too low? I didn't know those tires required that much more pressure than the Dunlops. I have a 120/70/21 up front with 35 in it.
