I'm looking for a solo bag for my 2011 Wide Glide. It looks like my options are limited due to the side mount license plate. I like the Licks Solo bag a lot but they don't have the Wide Glide listed as one of the bikes it would fit. The same thing with the Garage Leathers solo bag. Does anyone have a solo bag on there 2010 or 2011 Wide Glide? Any pictures and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

I have a badgcustoms right hand solo bag. Its been fine, for me its a little floppy with nothing in it. Other than that it works just fine.

 

I have a fork bag. I only use it for tools and locks and maybe a sandwich or two. but it works well for me.

Will the solo bag fit on the other side? Maybe it would fit better there because there is no side mount license plate?

 

I have the Licks Dyna solo bag, and it fits my '10 WG perfectly. It tucks in right in behind the stock side mount license plate. I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow. I use that bag along with a fork bag, and it works for the few items I carry. The Licks bag is smaller than the badgcustoms bags, but I like the Licks because it's out of the way and doesn't take away from the side view of the bike.

The description says it will fit models with side plate. I even believe you could use this bag together with the Licks model as this one sits behind the shock and the Licks is in front/under the shock. A bigger one on the right side and you could actually pack alot on a FXDWG with this setup.

I haven't researched that setup more but will when I am ready to get bags. Would be nice if Badgcustoms would do a "Licks" type of bag since it would be nice to have all leather looking the same.

 

Not that i have a bag, but i have been looking and it seems that the licks solo bag is the way to go.

Thanks for the info guys. Licks emailed me back today and said the back would fit so I'm probably going to go with that one.

 

That is a nice looking bag too and bigger than the Licks...well looks like i have a decision to make lol
