making a rinehart 2-1 louder.
I've got this exhaust
(pic stolen from classified section).
the pipes sound good, but they're not loud enough unless you really get on them. anyone have any idea how to make them louder? I looked around and it seems that getting the baffles out of these is a huge pain in the ***. that true?
any ideas on what i can do?
thanks.

Looks familiar, haha. How long have you had yours? I ran that pipe for a few years and the longer I had it the louder it got. Probably from carbon build up on the baffle wrap or it burning away. I never tried to get the baffle out but Ive heard you usually have to drill the screws out that hold it in. If you pull the baffle it would probably hurt your low end torque. They also make a "quiet" baffle for that pipe which you may have.

pipes have a little over 3k on them.
when you crank the throttle they sound pretty good, but they're definitely quieter than my buddies stock fxdx pipes. quieter than i'd like them riding around in a city full of some of the worst drivers I've ever encountered in my life.
im not looking to shake windows, just be loud enough to be noticed.
from what I've read, you need to shove a piece of wood down into the pipe and smash out the baffle with a hammer. kinda hoping theres an easier way.
